FAQ's
My machine/computer won’t read the files I have downloaded:
I get this message ALOT, particulary from Brother PE users. I make all of my designs to fit in the hoops stated:
i.e. 4x4, 5x7, 6x8 etc. If your machine isn't reading the design it is because your hoop is slighly smaller than the stated size, i.e. 3.9 or even as small as 3.85-3.8 in some cases. If you are having this issue with our designs you are likely to have the same issue with a lot of designers. We would recommned you aquire some software to shrink the design slightly (not too much and never more than 20%) so it will fit in your hoop. We are not able to resize designs that don't fit in your hoop because it is smaller than the stated design size. There is various free or low cost software available to do this. Some we would recommend are Sew What Pro and Buzz Edit.
I can see your designs in a google search however when I click through it just goes to the home page:
Some designs in the store are restricted to members only. If you create an account and ensure you are logged in you will be able to view and purchase all designs.
Can I sell items I've made using your designs?
We do not personally have an issue with you using our designs for items you have made to sell provided they are not being mass produced (i.e. handmade, boutique items only). However, we cannot grant licence or permission for you to sell licenced designs. Only the owner of the original intellectual property can do that. We are not qualified to offer advice on whether you should or should not do this and you should seek your own independent advice from a person qualified to give it.
If you have any questions not covered here please feel free to contact me.
Thank you, Sarah Sew and Sew
